San Antonio, TX – Urifunnel is excited to announce the launch of their crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo’s platform. The campaign’s goal is to raise funds that will be used to increase visibility and bolster their marketing efforts. Not enough people know about their solution and products, and they’d like to continue to empower those with special needs and the elderly with independence in the bathroom. The campaign will last for 60 days and is set to end on October 10th, 2016.

Urifunnel believes that they can help boys and men that need assistance in the bathroom but want to feel independent. What they’ve created is a portable, lightweight device that was designed to convert any ordinary toilet commode into a urinal. It is extremely easy to assemble and install, and it can be used by males of all ages.

Supporters have a wide range of perks they can receive in return for their generosity. From a simple shoutout on social media to individual and bulk discounts on the existing model of Urifunnel portable urinal. Urifunnel is also more than happy to receive non-monetary support in the form of referrals and sharing on social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest and Instagram. The greater the reach, the more people that will gain the benefits that a portable urinal for home can bring.

Urifunnel Crowdfunding Campaign

“We invented the device because Gaby, our special needs son, required assistance using the toilet. We were cleaning the bathroom multiple times a day and we were concerned about hygiene and safety,” said cofounder, Jorge Escudero. He adds that, “hoping that there was something out there to help us with this problem, we searched the internet in vain. It was then that we decided to take matters into our own hands. That’s how the Urifunnel was born. In addition to helping our own son, we quickly realized that this was a device that could help so many other people — young boys going through potty training; males recovering from injury or surgery; elderly men with dementia or vision impairment — the list goes on and on.

“Urifunnel is a family-owned business created with the purpose of empowering boys and men of all ages with assistive tools for the bathroom that bring them back dignity, hygiene and independence. The Urifunnel, a portable urinal for use at home, was created out of need for their special needs son. As interest has grown, they created a product, and have served single families, schools, hospitals and elderly care facilities with their product”
