The instructions are easy to follow and installation straight forward. We have a standard round and appears it should work with standard elongated. Cleaning is very fast, easy and in-between cleanings, I spray a mixture of bleach and water in a bottle and spray the inside surface to control any odors. As for price, it does seem to be on the high side. However, the cost of cleaning wipes and other cleaning products and time to clean the toilets and surrounding surfaces multiple times a day.
